You can submit up to 5 pages per day for free.

Your listing may be indexed within 4-6 weeks.

Scooter will crawl your pages every 5-6 weeks.

Express Inclusion:

• $39 for the first URL submission, $24 each for URL's 2-10 and $19 each for up to 500 URL submissions. 

• You can submit up to 500 URL's.

• Your listing will be indexed in 1-2 weeks.

• Your pages will remain in the index for 6 months and will refresh every week.

Listing Enhancements:

• The listing enhancement allows you to include your company
  logo, a descriptive icon, a highlighted custom tag line and
  additional text links within the description of your listing.

• To qualify for Listing Enhancements, you must first use
  AltaVista's Express Inclusion for submission.

• The cost for listing enhancements for your first URL is $50
  for your logo, $25 for your icon, $50 for a custom tagline and $25 for text links.  For each additional URL, the price is $36 each for your logo and custom tag line and $18 each for an icon and text links.

Trusted Feed:

• Designed for businesses submitting more than 500 URL's.

• Framed pages and pages with dynamic content will be accepted.

• URL's will remain in the database for 6 months and will refresh every week.  Pricing will be based on Cost Per Click.  You will pay an average of $1.00 per URL and up to about $.20 per click.

To find out if your search engine submission was successful, check to see if your site is indexed in AltaVista, by going to AltaVista.com.  In the search query box, type in yoursite.com.  If your pages are indexed, the query will return all pages listed within your domain that are listed in AltaVista.
